What is the Vineyard Voyages tour experience?
This is the DC Metro premier wine tour, where you will visit 3 wineries in a day! Visit The Tour page for more information.
Where does the tour depart from, and what are the pickup/drop-off times?
We will pick you up at the West Falls Church metro stop, conveniently located for orange and silver line riders of the Metro with free parking.
What time does the tour start?
We will leave promptly at 10 a.m., so please arrive by 9:45 a.m. to check in and get comfortable on the bus.
What time does the tour end?
We plan to return to the drop-off point at 5 p.m., but the time may vary depending on traffic.
Which wineries are included in the tour?
You will visit 3 wineries on the Vineyard Voyages tour.
How long does the tour last?
Our tour begins at 10 a.m. and ends around 5 p.m. (depending on traffic). You will spend at least 5 hours at the wineries.
What is included in the price of the tour?
The tour includes transportation on a comfortable bus from the West Falls Church metro stop to three wineries on the day of the tour. With this, you will receive exclusive discounts and extras while you enjoy the wineries!
What should I wear and bring on the tour?
We recommend you bring comfortable, smart casual clothing. Keep in mind the weather for the day and that our bus is air-conditioned. Comfy shoes will help you stay comfortable as you stroll along the wineries. Bring a USB charging cable to keep your phone charged, a bottle of water, and snacks to keep you hydrated and keep the hunger pangs away.

How can I book the tour?

Can I book a tour for a single person?
Yes! This trip was designed for individuals to book in addition to groups or partners.
Can I book a tour for a group?
Yes! If your group is over 15, contact us here to consider renting the bus at a discounted price.
Can I book the entire bus for a private event?
Yes! CONTACT US to let us know what date or dates you have in mind and what you’re looking for. We offer a nice discount for groups.
Can I book the entire bus for a private event?
You can cancel within 48 hours of making a booking, minus a 3% credit card processing fee charge. After 48 hours, there is no refund, but you may rebook.
Are there any age restrictions?
All passengers must be 21 years of age or older. There are no exceptions to this adults-only tour.
Food & Beverage
Is food provided on the tour?
You can purchase food at any of the wineries we will visit, many of which have full menus.
Can I purchase food at the wineries?
All of our wineries have food options, and many have full menus.
Can I bring my own food and drinks on the bus?
You’re welcome to bring small snacks and non-alcoholic beverages on the bus. No alcohol may be consumed on the bus.
Are tastings included in the price?
To keep the price down and to provide you with choices during the tour, you will choose what to enjoy at the wineries! Most wineries we visit include an extra pour or discount for tastings, and we’re considering an all-inclusive option in the future.
Accessibility and Other Considerations
Are pets allowed on the tour?
Our standard tours do not offer pets. We are considering a “dog day” tour; please CONTACT US if you are interested in this option!
What happens if there is inclement weather?
The wineries are open, rain or shine, and so are we! In the case of a natural disaster, we, of course, will be closed and will reach out.
What if I soil the bus while onboard?
This has never happened with us, but in case something happens where you soil the bus, you are responsible for a $300 clean-up fee. We’ll cross that bridge in the unlikely event we get to it.
