How many passengers can the Vineyard Voyages bus accommodate?
The primary Vineyard Voyages executive bus accommodates up to 27 passengers. Larger or smaller vehicles may be arranged for some groups based on the date, availability, route, and final passenger count.
Is a professional driver included?
Yes. Vineyard Voyages group transportation is professionally driven. The assigned vehicle, driver, service hours, and route are confirmed in the final proposal.
Does every bus rental include a Vineyard Voyages guide?
The scope depends on the requested service. Tell us whether you need transportation only or additional itinerary, venue, or group-hosting support so the proposal can reflect the correct staffing.
Can you provide multiple pickup or drop-off locations?
Multiple locations may be possible, but every stop adds travel and loading time. Share the proposed addresses so we can determine whether the plan is practical within the requested service window.
Can the bus be used for an event that is not a winery tour?
Vineyard Voyages considers customized group transportation requests throughout the DC Metro area. Describe the event, destinations, timing, and passenger count so availability and service fit can be evaluated.
Is alcohol allowed aboard the vehicle?
Alcohol is generally not permitted aboard the vehicle. For winery, brewery, and cidery outings, there will be plenty to enjoy at the destinations, and keeping alcohol off the vehicle supports a safe and comfortable trip.
Does the executive bus have a restroom?
No. The primary Vineyard Voyages executive bus does not have an onboard restroom. Longer routes should include appropriate comfort stops or destinations with restroom access.
Is the bus wheelchair accessible?
The primary executive bus is not currently wheelchair accessible. Please share mobility and accessibility needs before booking so we can discuss whether an appropriate transportation solution may be available.
How is bus-rental pricing determined?
Quotes depend on the date, passenger count, vehicle, pickup and return locations, destinations, total service time, travel distance, and any planning or hosting support requested. Pricing is provided through a customized proposal rather than a one-size-fits-all public rate.
What happens if the event runs longer than planned?
Overtime is subject to driver-hours rules, vehicle availability, and the terms of the final agreement. Build realistic loading, traffic, venue, and transition time into the original request whenever possible.
