Reconnect graduates and regional chapter members with a day that encourages conversation and easy social time.

Private winery outings for clubs and associations across the DC Metro area
From alumni groups and networking associations to women’s clubs, cultural organizations, civic groups, and hobby communities, Vineyard Voyages helps coordinate the transportation, winery planning, and flow of the day so organizers can enjoy the outing too.
Why groups book Vineyard Voyages
You bring the group. We take care of everything between pickup and drop-off, so the day feels effortless for the people on it — and for the person who planned it.
Beautiful settings, good wine, and unhurried time together. It is genuinely fun without anyone having to work at it.
One person plans the day with you from the first message to the final drop-off. No chasing wineries, drivers, or restaurants.
Route, winery reservations, transportation, timing, and food. Nobody in your group has to plan it or drive it.
A strong fit for many kinds of groups
Vineyard Voyages can be a strong fit for alumni chapters, young professional groups, women’s clubs, neighborhood associations, cultural organizations, civic and service clubs, faith-based fellowship groups, hobby communities, and other member-based organizations looking for a shared day out.

For the event chair, association leader, or volunteer organizer
You look after your members. We look after the transportation, the route timing, the venue communication, the food, and the reservation windows — so the person who organized the outing gets to enjoy it too.
Choose a practical meeting point such as a Metro station, university hub, hotel, office, or another designated location.
The 27-passenger executive bus anchors the fleet, with larger or smaller vehicles arranged when needed.
Partner venues are matched to the group’s atmosphere, timing, food, accessibility questions, and experience priorities.
The day is coordinated so members have time to settle in, connect, and enjoy each stop rather than rush between venues.
Tastings, lunch, charcuterie, and other selected experiences can be incorporated into the proposal.
A Certified Tourism Ambassador supports the group and helps keep the schedule and venue transitions moving smoothly.
Choose the shape of the event
The best plan depends on your members, the purpose of the gathering, the preferred pace, and how structured you want the day to feel.
A relaxed multi-venue wine country day with comfortable transportation, coordinated timing, and plenty of room for members to reconnect.
A more casual format that may prioritize lively patios, approachable tastings, food options, and easy conversation among members.
A polished format for board members, chapter leaders, committee volunteers, or VIP supporters, with elevated experience options when selected and available.
Your proposal will clearly outline the experiences and options selected for your group. Tastings, food, reserved seating, and special venue experiences are not automatically included.
A look at the experience
A club outing works best when everyone can travel together, settle into the day, and focus on the people they came to see.

Clubs and associations planning questions
Planning about one month in advance is recommended, especially for popular weekends, larger groups, or outings involving tastings and food. Shorter-notice requests may be possible based on vehicle and venue availability.
Vineyard Voyages operates a 27-passenger executive bus and can arrange larger or smaller vehicles based on the group’s needs. The best vehicle and route depend on the final headcount, pickup location, and desired duration.
Most private group experiences run between four and eight hours. The right duration depends on pickup location, number of venues, selected experiences, and the amount of time the group wants at each stop.
No. Proposals are customized. Tastings, lunch, charcuterie, reserved seating, guided winery experiences, and other options are included only when selected and confirmed in the proposal.
The organization is invoiced for the event as a whole, so there is a single payment rather than individual transactions on the day. A deposit secures the date and the balance is due before the event, with everything itemized in the proposal you approve.
Dietary restrictions can often be accommodated with advance notice. Most partner wineries offer non-alcoholic choices, and selected routes may also include a partner venue serving beer or cider.
Experiences operate rain or shine. Vineyard Voyages works with partner venues that have inviting tasting rooms and indoor spaces, helping the group remain comfortable when the weather changes.
Alcohol is generally not permitted aboard the vehicle. There will be plenty to enjoy at the wineries, and keeping alcohol off the vehicle helps ensure a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable day for everyone.
No. Submitting the form requests the host and begins the planning conversation. The date is secured only after availability is confirmed, the proposal is approved, and the required reservation steps are completed.
