Before you book
Explorer or Connoisseur?
Both include the bus, your host and three winery visits. Explorer leaves tastings, wine and lunch up to you at each stop. Connoisseur adds one pre-selected tasting or flight at every winery, arranged ahead, plus a free Vineyard Voyages tumbler when booked direct.
Where does the tour pick up?
West Falls Church Metro Kiss & Ride (7040 Haycock Road, Falls Church, VA 22043) at 10:00 AM, or Market Station (110 South Street SE, Leesburg, VA 20175) at 11:15 AM. You pick one at checkout and return to the same spot. Metro map · Leesburg map
Which wineries will I visit?
Your date sets the route: one of four rotating lineups of three wineries. The booking calendar shows the wineries planned for each date. Order and stops can change when a venue becomes unavailable, and individual substitutions can't be accommodated.
What's the cancellation policy?
Ticket sales are final. Optional Trip Protection can be added at checkout for $15 per person; its terms are shown there. If a date doesn't reach the six-guest minimum, you can move to another date or apply your ticket toward a private tour for an additional fee.
Is lunch included?
No. Food is available to buy at the second winery, the longest stop of the day.
How old do guests need to be?
Everyone on a scheduled tour must be 21 or older.
Does it run if it rains?
Yes, rain or shine. Every winery has a tasting room and indoor space.
Can I come solo or as a couple?
Yes. Scheduled tours are built for solo travelers, couples, friends and small groups joining a shared day.
How long is the day?
About eight hours from West Falls Church, about six from Leesburg. Return times can shift with traffic.
Is the bus wheelchair accessible?
No. The 27-passenger executive bus is not wheelchair accessible. Please call 571-250-0827 before booking to talk through boarding needs and options.
Are there discounts for groups, or can we go private?
Book 10 or more guests directly through Vineyard Voyages and save $5 per ticket. Prefer a day just for your group? A private tour gives you your own date, door-to-door pickup and wineries chosen for the occasion, from $150 per person.
